Spicy Tuna and Corn Chowder

Spicy Tuna and Corn Chowder

Ingredients:
  1. 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  2. 1 tbsp flour
  3. ½ cup onions (diced)
  4. ¼ cup celery (diced)
  5. ¼ cup carrots (diced)
  6. ¼ cup potatoes (diced)
  7. ½ can corn kernels
  8. 1 185g can Gold Seas Yellowfin Tuna Chunks in Olive Oil with Chili
  9. 1 cup low sodium chicken broth
  10. 1 cup milk
  11. ½ cup cream
  12. Salt
  13. Pepper
Garnish:
  1. Parsley (chopped)
Procedure:
1. Melt butter in a casserole. Add flour and mix until cooked through.
2. Saute onions and celery. Add carrots and potatoes and cook for about 3 mins.
3. Add corn kernels and can of tuna. Mix well.
4. Pour the chicken broth and milk. Simmer for 5 mins.
5. Pour cream and mix. Simmer until heated through.
6. Add salt and pepper to taste.
7. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
GOLDEN TIP: If you can’t handle the heat, use Gold Seas Yellowfin Tuna Chunks in Olive Oil instead.
